When we visited Belcos coffee meet up in Bordeaux in February this year we got to meet Ethiopian producers and sample their new season coffees. This one stood out on the table as a really good fun choice, so we ordered just 5 sacks of it in conjunction with some others. A few months later the final harvest finally landed into us. It's been a lovely surprise, not just because its now tasting better as its opened up, but also because its tasting like a Brazilian and Ethiopian coffee combined. This has made it approachable and interesting at the same time and has been a real hit since we started serving it on bar in our cafe.
