Diima Nensebo Mandoyea #3

Tastes like: Blueberry Muffin, smooth, sweet

Process: Natural

Varietal: Heirloom

Roast profile: Espresso

This has been the best example of how our new colour sorter has separated a great coffee from an exceptional one. This on espresso is so good! To achieve this the colour sorter removed a significant amount of quakers from the coffee which would be near impossible to do this by hand. It's why we reinvested in upgrading to this machine. It's turning these coffees into next level game changers. Luckily for you the price increase is only marginal across our coffees to achieve this with washed coffees having the least difference and naturals having more. This coffee works best as a straight espresso or as an Americano or for someone who loves a very interesting milk drink.

The Mandoyea Washing Station is located in the heart of Nensebo Woreda with a total of 572 farmers delivering red cherries from Mandoyea. Located in Oromia, about 400 km south of Addis Ababa, the Nensebo Woreda is home to a collection of smallholder farmers totalling 5,000 hectares of coffee. The average farm size in Nensebo is two hectares and producers cultivate a range of heirloom coffee varieties, including wild varietals originating from the neighbouring forest of Bale Mountain.
